Research Challenge SAP Sustainable Growth and Competitiveness - Aspects of Interregional Development

This challenge is framed by the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the UN and addresses key issues related to the sustainable growth and development of regions, as it holds the utmost importance for fostering economic prosperity, enhancing social welfare, and bolstering the overall competitiveness of the European Union (EU). Several EU policies have played a pivotal role in substantially diminishing the disparities in development levels among various regions, tapping into their growth potential, to succeed and be attractive in the twin green and digital transitions in an interconnected world.

This SAP provides an opportunity to understand and discuss, in an international and interdisciplinary environment, key concepts, frameworks, and best practices employed by regions to promote a more circular economy, and the challenges they've overcome to achieve successful and sustainable growth and competitiveness. This challenge is an opportunity to formulate solutions and become catalysts for sustainable growth and competitiveness, facilitating interregional development and competitiveness.
