This programme aims to develop in students a firm understanding of health inequalities and inclusive approaches to health promotion. It adopts an active participatory approach through involving students to explore, plan and develop health promotion resources focussed on a designated aea of concern. This course is aimed at those in the health, allied health, and associated fields, such as psychology. Key skills addressed include identification of a relevant Public Health issue and the development of a health promotion intervention. Project work, group work and reflection are keys areas focussed on.
