RUN-EU Research Challenge SAPs will bring together research students from all members of RUN-EU to develop joint innovative approaches and research project proposals focused on addressing the EU priority research areas of green transitions. As part of the SAP program, research students will be provided with master classes in the EU priority areas, innovation practice, and design thinking (can add more topics here) by leading researchers and educators of the RUN-EU community. The ultimate aim of this SAP is to provide research students with up-to-date knowledge and skills in methodologies and approaches to the development of research proposals and programs through a collaborative challenge-based approach.

In the challenge of delivering Socio -Economic Problems within the EU, the participants will get the opportunity to learn about the cutting-edge sustainability topics essential for the social transition in our economy. They can acquire this knowledge through sub-topics closely connecting this SAP’s goal. The subject of interculturalism, youth and socio economic challenges, tourism, will be incorporated. During the week, the participants get insights into the relevant and up-to-date results of sustainability research from internationally recognized professors.

During the SAP, the students will be able to:

think creatively (generate new ideas, evaluate and select the most appropriate ones),

improve research skills,

improve transversal and soft skills through teamwork and cooperative project methodology,

elaborate on cooperative research topics by utilizing new approaches,

articulate integrated research definition based on the sustainability challenges of European society,

improve sustainable and innovative thinking in cooperation with others to achieve a common goal,

recognize cutting-edge topics in the socio-economic transition,

consider interdisciplinary aspects of interculturalism, youth and socio economic challenges and tourism.
